hi there been to a n e and there going to send me for a scan the blood is not bright red its more of a pink colour if any 1 can tell me if this is ok as i have had 1 misscarage a couple of months ago please help

I had pink discharge/spotting from the day i found out i was pregnant, around 4 weeks to around 14 weeks of pregnancy. I was really worried and went to the doc straight away and he said it was a threatened miscarriage and all i could do was to keep taking pregnancy tests. I waited until 6-7 weeks and went for a scan and saw the heartbeat and everything being fine. The doctor failed to mention that 25% of all women experience spotting in pregnancy and have perfectly normal pregnancies.
You have nothing to worry about, but do go for the scan just to make sure everything is ok. If you bleed or have severe pain go to the doctor.hospital straight away.

that sounds ok, it happend to me last sun night and i went to a & e they arranged a scan and everything was fine. They said sex may have caused a slight bleed as they couldnt find a reason for the bleeding on the scan. The blood was also pink rather than red

Pink discharge is often common the early months of pregnancy bt go ahead with the scan. Good luck!

Spotting is normal in early pregnancy. Because you had a previous miscarriage they will double check the health of the embryo and uterus. Not because the spotting is an issue, but because you have a history of issue.
It'll more likely than not be just fine.

Everyone different, wait for scan. i had three bleeds with my daughter. she is fine now 10 weeks old and doind fine.
try not to worry, i know it hard.
