I have a stress fracture in my right shin. Starting last night I have been getting shooting pains in this leg. Is this normal?

Yes it is and you need to stop what ever you are doing that is causing the pain because that slows down the healing of a stress fracture. Get a crutch or something to take the weight off that leg, and tell your doc.

Your stress fracture has probably gotten larger. That is really painful. Hope you feel better.
