that would actaully kind of suck. i never thought about it but yah the fans to add quite a bit to the show, makes it feel more alive and not quite as staged.

Fan reactions help make a show.
Matter fact, any live show having fans makes it 100% better. Imagine a concert without screaming fans, or even another sport (like football) without enthusiastic fans watching. In the case of wrestling, fan reactions to characters and specific moves make the show better to watch.

I'd probably still watch it, but it wouldn't have the same level of excitement without the live crowd.
It's interesting to watch older PPV events. I rented an old Survivor Series PPV once. The crowd stayed seated during the entire event, and there were no signs.
Now when you watch any WWE events, the crowd is rowdy, standing on their feet for a lot of the show, and signs are everywhere.

If they were in a smaller setting it would be better. But then if they were in a smaller setting with fewer fans or no fans would the wrestlers still do the hype? I would love to go back to the day when they were in smaller venues and not so many people and you could actually see what was going on instead of at freaking nose bleed level.

Fans definitely make the show more interesting. There's something about a crowd that makes things like pro wrestling and sports more enjoyable to watch.

Honestly I think wrestling will be just about the same. It will just be a matter of getting use to an empty arena. I really dont think it wll be better, but it cant be worse.

In the early years (circa,1950's), shows were taped in studios with no more than 20 spectators! Now the fans are as much the 'show' as the Wrestlers!

I would still watch it. I don't care about looking at the fans or hearing the fans, I just want to look at the wrestlers do their job, and do it well.
Cheers

The fans create the atmosphere. If you go to see a concert, it certainly doesn't carry the energy during their warm up session during the day. The crowds bring it when they're all jammed in for the action.
