White noise on webcam?

Question

I was upstairs in my room and my mum was downstairs talking on webcam testing it.
She said she could hear noises so I came down and sure enough there was strange noises coming from my end of the webcam call.
It was as if someone was heavy breathing and whispering but we couldnt make it out at all.
Everytime we do a call again it is there.

We don't know if its a ghost or its just static but it sure is freaky.

Does anyone have any ideas how to record a webcam conversation or just the sound to see if we can hear anything?

Most computers have a recording program on the OS you use you can try using that to record the conversation or you can try looking and download such a program. there are programs out there that will also let you isolate the sound too. I'd like to hear what this static or sound, sounds like.
