Well it's for both but the emphasis should be on your family at this time. Especially if you have little kids. You want to make this a special time to remember with them.

I don't have kids now but I know once I do that I will be saving this time for them. Unless my friends are able to join in our activities I can see my friends any other times of the year but Christmas goes by so quickly and kids grow up. These are special memories to make with them.

Sooo.....it's for both friends and family but emphasis on family. Think of your friends send cards but don't drown your social calander with these activities.

I think that is silly. Christmas is for whomever you want it to be with. Some people are closer to friends than family, others have no family at all. Spend it with who you love and who you want to be with.

Christmas is for everyone. You spend time with the ones you love whether you're blood related or not. It's a time of sharing and being happy :-)

Christmas is for those closet to you. Often (and sadly), our friends become closer to us than our own families, but given the proper outlet, anyone who cares about you will be there.

i think christmas is for everyone, whether family, friends, acquaintances, or people you don't even know at all. it is a time to celebrate with those you care about and those who care about you as well as give to the poor.

Family should come first naturally but friends need to be included too. It is a time to be around those you love and those that love you.......at least those who should.
