+ or - 100

lemme explain:
(100^2)^(1/2) = (10000)^(1/2) = +or- 100

but if question is √(100^2)=?
then the answer is 100 only since the radical sign automatically gets rid of the negative part of the answer.

how old are you??? anyway, this doesn't even take a mathematical formula. just cancel the square root sign and the ^2.... you get 100. but remember that in finding the square root, you get two roots -- and that is the positive and negative root. so you get +100 and -100.

it would just be 100.

if you take the square root of any number n^2 it would just be n since n*n = n^2.

tis very easy to find out a root....well answer to your question is 100.....there are 2 basic methods to find out a square root.....
1. first is to factorise the given number and pairing up the like factors and multiplying them...the numbers which are not paired will be multiplied and they will remain inside the root....

second method is quiet lengthy...but still if you want to know, you may always email me at sonata_maverick@yahoo.co.in
