for my media class i have to write a paper on a podcast. what it is, how you make one, what its useful for, the purpose of one, etc. the only problem is i have no idea what it is, or anything about it. im incompitant when it comes to technology! haha. if anyone can help me out with the basics of one id really appreciate it! :)

I wish I could say more, but it says all that you need! Good luck on your paper, podcasts aren't really that hard to get used to.
P.S. You ought to start listening to some, just to familiarize yourself with them. I totally recommend http://www.poptrashradio.com - it's awesome! (But explicit. But awesome!) The two who do it are Davy and Kendra, and they're hilarious.
Don't forget that there are video as well as audio podcasts ....
