The fact that this is even a plausible thought makes me sick. Does this amount not seem a little excessive? I would imagine 'part' of these dollars could go to something better. Say, nationwide poverty perhaps? Please, feel free to provide reasoning on why 1 Billion dollars needs to be spent on a football stadium.

This is why I never approve of public financing for sports venues in the first place. It is ridiculous how elected officials allow privately-run entities (like sports franchises) raid the taxpayer coffers to suit their own needs.

Public money should only be spent on projects that provide a substantial benefit for the common good. Professional sports is nothing more than private enterprise that is primarily concerned for its own bottom line and has no legal obligation to benefit society as a whole.

that's relatively cool! yet because of the fact the stadium is so enormous, how some distance from the sphere are the top point seats?? evidently on the overhead view, that the stadium is soccer formed, and the single end plaza has a trapezoidial shape, forming what seems to be the lombardi trophy. unsure despite the fact that if that's coincidental, yet an extremely helpful touch besides!

they are only thinking of the money they will get in return, if there are more seats, they can make more money, so in less than maybe 5 years, they'll already have their money back. its dumb, when they have a lot of homeless people and people starving in their own city, they'd rather spend it on a stupid place where they play football
