Some idiots actually believe that it was all fake because they cant see stars in the background of the photos but they refuse to learn about photography and why bright close objects will wash out the dim stars. They won't even think about comparing them to current space pictures of today like this one taken in August 2007 from the space shuttle:
http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap071127.html
They see the flag snap as the pole holding it up is extended, and the idiots claim that's the flag waving in the breeze but everyone knows there is no wind on the moon so it has to be fake.
They buy into the conspiricy theories because they think it is an exciting thing to do. They are sad lonely fools who have nothing better to focus their pathetic lives on.

There seem to be two types of people who disbelieve the moon landings; those who want to sell shoddy books and those who are duped into believing what the books say.
The first group are simple hucksters out for a buck. You have to do a certain amount of research to put a book together, so I don't think the authors can claim ignorance of the facts as an excuse. I believe they're well aware that what they're writing is crap, but they know that sensational conspiracy stories sell books.
Of course, the books wouldn't sell if they didn't have an audience, and that brings us to the second group. The most important thing about science education is that it teaches people how to tell the difference between what makes sense and what doesn't. The "moon-hoax" believers make me think science education has failed in this primary task. Many people seem to take the word of authority (or anybody who manages to sound authoritative), and have seemingly never learned how to do a simple analysis or a simple researching of the facts. This is stunning especially in the Internet age, where good facts are so readily accessible. It seems (some) people are willing to blog for hours about the "hoax," but don't have the energy to spend half an hour of research that would refute the hoax-believers' claims.

There are some radicals that claim this but they are only wanting to cause hate and discontent,, The apollos did land on the moon, I seen appollo 11 launch and watch Neil Armstong take one small step for man and one giant leap for mankind, then I watched as the apollo 11 lunar modual landed in the ocean,, it would have costed nasa more money to fake it all rather than do it ,, so yes the claims of a fake moon landing are just ludicrist,, aside from apollo 11 there was apollo 13 which did not land on the moon due to major problems on board the craft after lauanch and they returned to earth luckyily for them,, then apollo 14,16,17 all were on the news and no way to fake it,

There is no evidence for the landings to be fake. There is only evidence to them being very much real. People say "if we landed on the moon why are there no stars on the pictures?". The problem with these people is that they only repeat what others say. They don´t bother investigating the facts for them selves.

Don´t make the same mistake.

Yes.
I have noticed people I've met who believe Man did not land on the Moon tend to believe in many other conspiracies, too.
I call people who believe EVERYTHING is part of some vast conspiracy the "cynically naive."
Questioning and having skepticism is good, critical thinking.
Paranoia is not.

Unforunately, yes, there are disbelievers.
I have yet to talk to any one of those people who have a SHRED of evidence to support their claims.
It gets a little tiring answering the lunar landing conspiracy peoples' questions every day, often several times a day.
But, I suppose that there will always be doubters, no matter how many facts you rub their noses in.
Sigh.

Yes, and they're ludacris! How do you explain Apollo 13, when Forrest Gump snuck aboard the spacecraft, and pushed the wrong button!
Seriously though, as I have answered before, these people have seen one too many episode of "X-Files"!

Yes- lots of REAL dummies on planet Earth!
I am continually amazed by the ignorance of these folks! Is this a prime example of the failure of our educational system to teach basic science?
EDIT-------- from another post on the same subject --- it comes up almost daily on Answers !!!!! EDIT follows:
I guess landing 6 TIMES--------- returning with moon rocks------- radio communications from the surface of the moon------- everyone on EARTH following the entire event from start to finish in extreme detail-----ELECTRONICALLY with radio transmissions originating from the surface of the moon, and radio telescopes tracking the descent and landings------- thousands of moon site photos----- almost having 3 astronauts DIE (Apollo 13)-------- having astronauts die while testing the capsule on the pad---- redesigning the entire interior of the capsule------ numerous orbital missions ---Gemini-Mercury---- testing procedures and docking------ and a decade of thousands of scientists and workers laboring to achieve this goal ---------- COUNT FOR NOTHING------ and indicate a VAST conspiracy to "pull the wool" over the world's eyes!

Some people say that at the time we first went to the moon, our equipment wasn't powerful enough to block the massive solar radiation present where it wasn't being blocked very much from the Earth's magnetic field.

many people think that NASA is hiding something related to UFO.
They also spotted many things which were wrong in the pictures from moon.
This raises to the people to think that when NASA programmes were reached on moon, Aliens present on moon forced men to go away back to earth.
Although it is not possible but those who have no knowledge always have greater possibility of UFO evidances in their minds.
thank you.
