Am a male and in my early 40s and would like to have atleast one child of my own. Is it possible by a surrogate mother to bear my child? If so, what is the legal procedure? Please help...

Am not a gay,am a very normal male. And yes am selfish to have my own child because i should not be held responsible if unable to bring up somebody else's child as a good human being.

You could adopt or do a surrogacy. Call a family lawyer.

I don't see what the problem is, single women have babies all the time, there's no reason a single dad should be looked at any differently for wanting to do the same thing.

Good luck.

It seems that this has been on your mind for a while but do you know what this really means???Legal procedure is messy but a family lawyer will tell you about it. Like every one said, it is expensive, but more importantly, it may not go the way people say it will go. It is not the EASIEST solution. The easiest way is to adopt because you don't have to deal with the baby stage (breast feeding, crying in the night, diapers)which really needs a mother. Also when the child grows up and asks what happened, it will be better to tell him/her that you adopted him rather than you paid to have him and on top of that saying that his biological mother is not in his life because you had a contract agreement saying that she has no legal rights. *****Pay attention if you realy need help: If you really want your own child then pray to God. Pray and wait on him. If you truly want a child then do it His way. He will send you a woman that you will fall in love with and marry. If you think this is not what you want then God will change your heart and views so you can be happy with this idea but you just have to allow Him to do it because all things are possible with our God. If you meat the best woman, fell in love with her and she wanted to have a child, would you have a child with her? God loves you and want you to have all that you should have but know that He is the only One that can provide, not another human and not technology. Sorry this was long but I hope it was valuable to you. I will pray for you and your new child God is going to give you.

A baby needs a mother and a father.

I'm not saying you are selfish. I just don't think you are thinking this through fully.

A married woman and man provide the stability and support a child needs. As they approach different milestones in their lives, they need special things that only mothers and fathers can give. It's difficult for just one parent to "be all things" to the child.

Sure, lots of people become single parents because of unfortunate circumstances, but no one should seek this lifestyle deliberately. It's just not in the best interest of the child.

If you want to mentor or help a child, consider a Boys Camp or Big Brother/Big Sister.

Expensive and open to all sorts of problems. Ultimately will that Woman hand over the baby at the end????

Can you not find a woman , fall in love and have a family that way?
Obviously if you are gay then surrogacy would be a good option or maybe adoption?

Is your purely concern that your eggs are no longer wholesome? Do you have a useful uterus? you would be able to desire to apply a donor egg, have it fertilized including your husband's sperm and circulate it on your uterus so as which you carry the being pregnant to term. lots low priced than having a surrogate, factors the prospect to experience being pregnant and no concerns approximately her changing her thoughts.

You should just join a dating site and meet someone that will have children with you. Are you gay? If so, you could adopt, as there is a population problem anyway. are you selfish? Alrighty then, I guess you are gonna have to impregnate some poor woman, but it will cost you around fifteen grand to go through the legal process, unless you are willing to put an ad on craigslist.. Your ad should read something like "Wanted. Legal prostitute for sex with impregnation. You pop out my baby, you keep the 5 grand, and everybody's a winner."

my advice would be for you to adopt.. if you had a woman carry your baby.. then it is different than a sperm bank for men.. she would legally be the mother.. it could get legally messy.. and there are plenty of kids that need homes :)
