When I was in high school (many years ago), I had a one particular nightmare that was pretty disturbing.
I dreamed that my brother had killed his then girlfriend who lived next door to us.
He then chopped her up and stuffed her into my mattress and told me if I told anyone he would do the same thing to me.
Needless to say when I abruptly woke up from that nightmare I had to calm myself!
That was after I lept out of bed thinking I had a chopped up body in my mattress!

Oh yes always about spiders. I once dreamed that they were on me in bed under the sheet. I woke up to find myself standing by the bed feverishly wiping off the dream spiders, more like slapping myself than actual wiping.

It was NOT a bad dream but this week I had one that was so REAL that I had to calm myself back to reality
It has been about 3 months since i have had any bad dreams

Absolutely!!!
Have had two that i still remember.
One where my (then) 3 year old was climbing some wall bars and i was with him. He fell and i could not save him. It was awful. And i woke up crying.
The other one was where i dreamt that my husband had gone off with another woman. I remember waking and having to realise it was really just a dream.
Some dreams can seem so real......

oh yes!! there was a time i used to keep dreaming my mother was dead, and they were all so real that sometimes I woke up in tears (fortunately she's still alive, she's only 48). or i used to dream that my boyfriend cheated on me, and woke up all sad and doubtful, full of heartache...
dreams can be really realistic at times...

Yes.
It was a dream involving me,my sister and my mom. A man had came in and stabbed my mom.. never knew what happen to my sister...but.. he came after me..luckily I had a knife..and when he got right in my face..i stabbed him.
I woke up in a puddle of sweat. It was very real and vivid.

Yes on one occassion, my mom had to convince me she was not an alien robot sent to earth to destroy me...
Another was when I had a dream I was in a museum of statues. They were angels and demons. The demons reached out to get me and the angels were fighting them away... Talk about spiritual warfare

Yes!!! It took me about 5-10 min. to get collected and realize that it was ONLY a dream.

Yes and they "hang on" all day.
I had one the other night about something so bizarre and now cant remember it (thank goodness) but it stuck with me all day. I think I watch too many crime shows
