The movie for Stephen King's Needful Things was horrible, they changed the characters all around and there was really no reason to, it didn't make it more exciting. King has stated that he wouldn't have The Dark Tower series made into a movie and I hope that sticks. He said he didn't want people to think of the characters as the actors playing their parts. I agree on that, I always think of the actors once I've seen the movie.

The Da Vinchi Code. The book was good, but I didnt care for the movie. I think most movies based on books aren't very good. I guess it is because most of the time I've read the book and I dont like the changes they make. Like The Firm-the ending was nothing like the book.

most novels should be, the movies rarely do them justice.
