woman are not subordinate to men?

Question

why do alot of men still belief that they are better than woman and that a woman has to do as she is told?
do men not realise that we have always had a mind of our own? even if you meet a shy timid girl she will hav her own thoughts and feelings and the more you supress her, one day she is going to explode.
its like when you go out to the oub, most men feel insulted when women turn them down, like how dare she! HELLO, MIND AND VIEWS OF OWN!

• I suppose you have had a pretty hard break up due to male dominance in the relationship. It is quite natural to vent your frustrations somewhere. But just for that, don't stereotype all men as bad and patriarchal.

Some women dont mind being subordinate. I dont care if I have to take a few orders. I do realize that doesnt mean everyone has to be the same, though.

I'm sorry, I get just the opposite impression. I often sense that women feel they are superior to men. My hobbies and interests are considered "childish". While women's causes are 'noble' Many women act like helpless damsels and want men to wait on them hand and foot, pay thier way.

It is a persons emotional strength that determines ones submissive or dominant nature. Our culture still conditions women to be submissive.

Society still, believe it or not, teaches men that they are better. I mean, cmon look at all the statistics and whatnot, men still get paid a dollar to every womans 75 cents, and they are taught from little boys not to "throw like a girl" or stop "crying like a girl" etc. It's almost as though men are not taught to be men in this world..they are taught how not to be women. so of course, they feel superior.

And no, not all men act this way, but im generalizing..because its true, and what you are saying is true..and just because women feel this way they are told to "stop stereotyping" or "burn that bra" (for feminism)..we are encouraged NOT to say these things almost like we are supposed to hide it...we are just speaking the truth here!!!

I think men like that are old - fashioned. We can do what we want. What gives them the right to think they're superior? What would've happened if women had had more rights than them and we thought we could boss them about. I don't believe that they wouldn't have complained.
