I prefer SVU because the endings usually have a surprise or a twist to them. Often with CI you know who is the criminal too early in the show. Sometimes the subject matter creeps me out with SVU - I hate to watch the shows where children are victimized.

I've been watching the original Law and Order since it started about 13 years ago. I'm one of the strange people who likes CI better than SVU, but I enjoy all of them. They're very well written--such a refreshing change from all this unscripted "reality" stuff.

Yeah, there on every night on Hallmark (sky channel 150) as well!
I like SVU best, I love the normal LAw & Order as well, did you know that the actress who plays Olivia Benson, Mariska Hargitay is Jane Mansfields daughter??????

Give me Law and Order in any form, new or repeat. I love them all. I like SVU (I Love Munch and have since his days on Homicide) and I like CI ( I like the fact that they are switching off between Vincent and Chris). Law and Order forever (RIP Jerry Orbach.)

SVU is a personal favourite. I can't stand Criminal Intent. Vincent D'onofrio's jerky body language gets right on my t*ts!!! Does he genuinely have something wrong with him or is he bringing a little something extra to the show like good old sunglasses wearing, always stating the obvious Horatio Caine.
Criminal minds is good tho - really getting into that.

I watch both but LOVE SVU,,, at times it makes me sick what some people will do,,especially to children.That is why I love SVU because they bring the SICKOS to justice!!!<
