I have to do a report for school, on a type of math. What kinds of interesting types of math are there?

Specifically, it is supposed to be about a branch of mathematics. I want to do something along the lines of problem solving or pascal's triangle, but I don't know what type of math that is.

for pascal's triangle, you could either look at combinatorics or probability theory. the two subjects are related, and they both use pascal's triangle.

I would recommend Statistics. It's one of the most widely used forms of Mathematics. You have to learn Statistics for almost any given career requiring a college degree.

I think Permutation and Combination and also Probability are very interesting.

their are NO interesting types of math. but if you have to pic one try statistics.
