I have an International DT 433 truck and I have some elecrtical and other problems on it.
- Sometimes when trying to start the engine early in the morning I just can't (mostly when its cold);
- My indicator for charging the batteries blinks red and makes sound and I am afraid that when I'm doing delivery its gonna stop;
- Sometimes the indicator on the dashboard blinks and shows that there is water in my tank.

These are my main problems. I went to a technician, even to the International Dealer but they couldn't find the problem.
I am doing a delivery bservice in Toronto, Canada. If somebody has dealt with such problems, have any ideas how I might fix them please respond!!!

P.S. If somebody knows a good mechanic on trucks in the Toronto area please tell me!
Thanks!

Sounds like your alternator is only working intermittently.
The most common reason for this is the brushes are going.
Either replace the alternator, or take it off and get someone to replace the brushes.

The water in fuel light is water in your fuel filter. You should drain the fuel filter at the bottom, and pump the primer pump until clear fuel comes out.

Good luck.

- Sometimes when trying to start the engine early in the morning I just can't (mostly when its cold); Glow plugs are not heating evenly.... REPLACE ALL OF THEM
- My indicator for charging the batteries blinks red and makes sound and I am afraid that when I'm doing delivery its gonna stop; Idling too LOW or loose belt...
- Sometimes the indicator on the dashboard blinks and shows that there is water in my tank. This would be water in the separator not the tank. change the station where you purchase the diesel and drain the separator daily when you get home in the PM....

Not sure where your batteries are mounted. If they are behind the cab on the frame; 1st check the positive battery cable from the battery to the starter. The symptoms sounds like you have a short. The cable may be chafed though where it has been rubbing on a sharp edge. If OK then check the heavy power cable that enters the cab for the same condition.

You don't mention miles or kilometers on this truck. It the number is high, you might have the glow plugs checked, batteries, battery cables and starter checked (draw test) and put an additive in your fuel tank.
