Afridi for his fearlessness. Fleming is such a disappointment and 5th on any batting list that excludes Courtenay Walsh. He has a terrible conversion rate of 50s to 100s. Anyone that voted for Fleming has rocks in their head. He was a great captain but has never fulfilled his early promise as a batsman.

i find that stephen fleming the inviolable best. stephen fleming is known for his placid mettle. I have seen him play as the captain of new zealand. but u rarely see his face contort. when he is out there in the middle, with a big total on the board, the fans still feel that the match is finely poised. afridi is more of a blind hitter, yuvi is not very consistent, vettori is an all-rounder and bhopara yet to establish his batting feats !

...According to me Stephen Fleming is the best batsman and I have my reason for it..He has often lead from the front in chasing huge totals....and was almost always consistent....Which even the great Sachin Tendulkar can't do..!
Yuvi follows..He is a good batsman..and has lead the team to victory..many.times...but he has to be put to more test to prove his worth...
Vettori is the next..He lately had begun to show consistency and was turning to be an all-rounder...
Ravi bhopara will follow..However I don't know how he got into the choices..He also bats good..
Finally its the stylish Afridi...He is a better bowler than a batsman...Still I love to see him bat..It is better not to expect anything from him only then he will surprise us....He needs consistency!!!!!!!!!
