It's a good thought. So let's chase its tail.

Suppose we have two perfect entities. Since they are two and not one, there must be some way to distinguish this fact... perhaps they are in different locations, or one is blue and the other is green, or something like that.

And here's where we have a problem.

Now that we KNOW there's a difference between the two, it is possible that this difference makes one of them, slightly more perfect than the other. If this were so, then there would still be only one perfect being and one almost-identical-but-slightly-less-than-perfect one.

For example, if they are in two locations, the closer one might be able to hear me better or I might find its greater proximity to be more comforting. If they are different colours, then human eyes will respond to them differently or colour preferences might become involved.

So you end up with the REALLY hard question: Is there is difference that can exist that distinguishes two things but which does not ever give one the advantage over the other?

Most are hard-pressed to come up with one. A difference, by definition, makes things different. If no such difference exists, then there can only be one most-perfect being. It bears mention, though, that there are many ideas of religion which DO incorporate a variety of variously more and less perfect dieties - Gnosticism being a prime example.

That's my take anyway, for what it's worth. Peace!

Well it's like the Chinese say, " that's the way the egg rolls".
Other than that you'll have to ask God about that one.

Very simple; there can be only one, The One. IF one is perfect, why would you need two...IF it's not broken, why fix it?

Good luck!

there is only one perfect person because in our mind we feel it. we just feel that they are the perfect ones and do not see thier flaws or errors or imperfection. it happens when we are too into them. i know my talk might not make sence but if you are too much into someone the way i am.....................
u know what i am saying

This one perfect being nonsense stems from man-made religions that were contrived to control the masses and the asses. the truth is we are all perfect beings of infinite knowledge. No one knows it because we were never told by our wonderfully oppressive religions.
