We have a christmas party and we are bringing in a creative gift under $10. They want it to be creative and fun. Any ideas?

oh my, i just remembered that there is a talking ornament from hallmark where linus(from charlie brown) does his "thats what christmas is all about charlie brown" speech. It is kind of religuous. I think everyone likes peanuts though. What do you think?

#1 - The Charlie Brown Ordament is great. Peanuts isn't religious. It's about the spirit of the season.

Other ideas:
1. Gingerbread House Kit
2. Snowman Making Kit: http://www.bronners.com/1081118.html
3. Candy Molds & Chocolate Kit
4. Funky Luggage tags - they always say have something to identify your bag because everyone buys black luggage/navy
5. Stepping Stone
6. Poinsetta
7. Weiner Sticks & Marshmallows (you can get the metal sticks at a camping store)
8. Tim Hortons/Star Bucks Gift Card and make Warm & Fuzzy Coffee Cup Holder
Using a paper coffee cup holder as a template, cut out holder from fun fur, arctic or polar fleece, or old sweatshirt. If desired, trim edges with ribbon. Attach Velcro to each short end. (Something that will be talked about). It will keep your hands from being burnt from the cup. I made one and all the girls in the office are wanting one.

Things I have done if for a woman is to get separate small things
go to a specialty shop and get tea bags...tell the clerk you want soothing tea or small envelops of specialty hot cocoa or flavored coffee, then hit a candle store and get some really nice candles not taper, but something short...ok you are half way there...now hit the mall and get a small box...one to four of truffles...most women love chocolate...that should hit in the range of 10 dollars or so.
Scents for people is a no go because it is such a personal preference
If it is for a man it much harder...after shave is out
but if you know if the person is creative then drawing sets are nice...what type of music or literature...I have gotten antique books for a good price and books are always welcome...or some print that I know the person likes...for example an MC Escher wall print was a big hit

You could put some toilet paper in a bag and when they open it they will get a laugh and then they will see you also put some scratch offs in the bottom of the bag as an actual gift.
