Does anyone else have a postie who doesnt turn up till after 1.00 o`clock?
I can remember when i was younger the post was always on the door mat when i got up but now after lunch. I think it must be down to things like Ebay and mail order companies.

If you are in the UK - then you may like to know that the postal workers are 'working to rule'.

i.e. Working strictly to contract, no over-time etc.

There are massive, massive backlogs, but the public are being kept in the dark.

(this is not a conspiracy theory, it is actually happening)

There may have been a time "in the old days" when a working age man was "looked down upon" if he didn't have a job and people who claimed the dole were regarded as "scroungers" (at best) or "thieves" who were "stealing Tax out of the honest working mans pocket" ....

As a result, men would be eager and willing to do any sh*t job (such as Postman) to the best of their ability and "glad to have it, guv."

These days the average UK citizen had been "educated" by the "needs" industry to believe they have a God Given "right" to live off the backs of others .. and no-way are we taking on a low paid sh*t job unless we are paid large amounts of money ..... and as for the suggestion that we should be prepared to "work hard" for a tiny bit more that the dole, well "you know where you can stuff that one, guv."

PS no, I'm not a Postman, but do YOU want the job ?

its nothing to do with ebay or mail order companies, its because they have bigger rounds...and have to go in early and sort the mail out,
its called royal mail cut back
its not your posties fault
