Did you think Elizabeth Montgomery from Bewitched was a good actress?

At times I felt she overacted, but I guess it is good for the show, as both her and the show seemed a little over the top.

I loved Bewitched. She was great in that role. Sure, it was a little over the top, but look at the part she was playing. She couldn't have played it any other way and still made it funny.
Did you see her in the movie about Lizzie Borden? You know, "Lizzie Borden took an axe and gave her mother 40 whacks. When she saw what she had done, she gave her father 41". She was great in that! She also played in an episode of Twilight Zone when she was very young with an also very young Charles Bronson. It was great, too.
What a shame she died at such a young age.

She was a wonderful actress and you shouldn't base your opinion on just Bewitched which was a comedy sitcom geared for the family. She made quite a few movies and starred in alot of early televison. You must always remember the times in which these shows were made. Late sixties and early seventies were very different than what you are experiencing now.

She was Samantha - a character - who everyone knew at the time. I watched all the shows & enjoyed them. Yes. She was good in her role. Very believable & entertaining.
