I have 2....Love actually....because love is actually all around us if we look for it...and Lady in the Water...It reminded me that we are all connected in some way..What we do today will affect someone somewhere..." Man thinks they are each alone in this world. It is not true. You are all connected. One act can one day affect all."

My Left Foot~Christie Brown struggled through to become a reknowned artist. I have a number of chronic illnesses that I have to battle with, and I know that I can keep trying although I don't expect to succeed as he did. But, through Daniel Day-Lewis' brilliant portrayal, with Brenda Blethyn as his supportive mother, we all should find inspiration.
For further inspiration I have these films:
The Miracle Worker (both versions)
Slow Dancing in the Big City
Mask~Eric Stoltz and Cher
Resurrection~Ellen Burstyn (not that I believe healing is anywhere in my future~It's a wonderful movie.)
For movies that perk up my spirits, these always do the trick for reasons not quite fully understood. They might not work their magic on others.
Singin' in the Rain~That Gene Kelly number is enough to make me feel as if I could take flight! I love the rain anyway, and, like Don Lockwood (Gene), I don't mind a bit of drenching.
The Right Stuff
Ed Wood
The Adventures of Milo & Otis
Savannah Smiles~Maybe it's because my mom loves it so much.
Watership Down~My mom, who isn't crazy about movies, will ask about these two movies: Savannah Smiles and Watership Down.
Educating Rita
American Graffiti
The Truth About Cats & Dogs
The Matchmaker~with Janeane Garofalo//I want to go to Ireland! Ever since I was very, very little, I've told people, "I want to go home to Ireland". I've always said it that way. We're Irish on both sides of the family, so maybe I heard people talking when I was young.
Darby O'Gill & the Little People~Ireland again!
84 Charing Cross Road~This one makes me cry though, when she discovers that the man she has been writing to for years has died before she gets to meet him. This movie has been a driving force in trying to get back to penpalling. Unfortunately, my illnesses threw me a year-long setback. So, I've really needed all of these films to help keep me going.

Movies do not inspire me because its not real life.
The only man who inspired me is
Sachin Tendulkar who wasn't born with a silver spoon in his mouth like Sourav Ganguly.
And today Sachin is undoubtedly a living legend & off course the KING of CRICKET.

I don't know about movie , but I know movies that inspired me : Lage Raho Munnabhai : is about how a petty criminal changes his ways because a chemical imbalance in his brain causes him to see Mahatma Gandhi in his mind's eye. It inspired me to solve problems nonviolently.
Chakde India : is about a losing girls national hockey team .The team players learn about team work and start winning games. It inspired me because it tells us about national integration .
Ice Princess : is about a geek Casey , who wants to become an ice skater .Nothing is impossible.
Mulan : is bout a Chinese girl named Mulan who takes her father's place in the army . Bravery .

Gandhi, because it shows what our ancestors had gone through to make this a better place for us to live in, yet we decide to corrupt it, with gangsters, political corruption, you HAVE to bribe someone to get ANYTHING at all accomplished.. it kind of makes me think why did we get freedom in the first place, if we're not going to take advantage of it. The movie just makes you want to do good and be a better human being then onward.
