How about the Vegas Black Jacks. Not "too" cheesy and could make for cool uniforms. Gotta say in all honesty getting a team there would make the NHL seem rather petty as for all the decent cities in the USA and Canada that have good fan bases Vegas is very, very low on the list.

Well one things for sure... it won't be related to gambling, as that will just seem ridiculous for a professional sports league to do that.

I do like the Las Vegas Vipers though. If it happens, it'll probably get some more epic, commercial Vegas show style name like the "Las Vegas Blue Men (Sponsored by the Blue Man Group)"

Living in Vegas, I've given this very little thought, because while it might be logical, it doesn't make any sense. SInce LV is part of the LA Kings territory, and we would lose our ECHL team anyway, how about the:
LA Wranglers of the City of Las Vegas?
or
Las Vegas Bombay Gin Swillers( after the illustrious mayor Oscar Goodman, who loves his martinis, plus it gives it a corporate sponsor)
Will probably have some stupid "name the team" contest, and be something stupid like the Las Vegas Solar Rays( since we get 330+ days of sunshine per year) or LV Bandits...U know, one-arm bandits. Las Vegas Fold'ems?
Haley and Lubers- prostitution is illegal in Clark County, where LV is located, so Bunny Ranch Hands doesn't work,lol.
