I don't know, I have heard two versions of who reported her, the parents and another teacher, so I am not sure if it is jealousy or not.
What it is though is really rude, to treat a person in your country who came to help the children of it, and made a mistake, it's not even that big a mistake really if you listen to the Muslims in this country.
To call it a crime is beyond reason.
Plato, I think this is going to affect people's willingness to help the starving in Dafur.

What I would like to know is whether, if the bear was named after a little boy in the class, as was mentioned, why wasn't the boy offended??? He wasn't. He was pleased.

Shouldn't that say something to the frenzied fanatics who cry foul about their revered Prophet being insulted???

Shouldn't they know that children are the true essence of holiness and no Prophet / Holy man would be even slightly offended by something so innocent.

Yash or Yeshu is the Eastern version of Jesus.
If a child named his cuddly toy Yeshu / Yash, i as a Christian would not be offended...i'd be delighted that a child would choose the "name above all names" for something he loved.
