I seem to be getting differing opinions on this. In the latest Itunes update, do i have the capability to do this. Otherwise, what's another solution to put my music back on my computer?

If all you're trying to do is put the music from your iPod to your computer, go to this site:

It's pretty easy. You don't have to download anything! All it is, is a step-by-step procedure. And it even has pics. It took me like 15 min to get my 600 songs back onto my computer.

No.
Apple has made it so that files can be taken from a computer to an iPod, but not from an iPod to a computer. Trust me, it sucks. If you transfer them in, when you take your iPod out, you won't be able to play the music and it will ask you where to find the file.
