My favorite Christmas song of all time is by one of my singing idols Trisha Yearwood. You may not hear it on the radio - unless it's a country station - but I guarantee if you heard it it would become one of your very favorites too. Her voice is amazing and the lyrics ... .well they convey my sentiments exactly ...

I'm dreaming of a white christmas, it 's my favorite because every year usually just a day or two before x-mas the snow will fall in big snow flakes very slowly to the ground in the night time, everything is so still and quiet that you can actually hear the snow hit the ground. It's very beautiful and peaceful and everything is completely white. very nice. the song reminds me of that moment.
