Sadly, if we stopped emissions of greenhouse gasses today, global warming would continue until the year 2050.
So, while I don't advocate doing nothing, you have to realize that it's simply too late.

Earth is 4.55 billion years old. She's seen it all. And she's come through it all. And she will again until she's consumed by the sun. There's nothing you can do to destroy or save the planet. Habitats may get ruined but the planet will go nowhere.

Its man that won't survive.

There are many people who are struggling to save our planet. Remember the EPA? Al Gore? Robert Redford? Green Peace? We are working on it!!!
