With the majority of people, yes!
We lose our inhibitions when we're drunk so it makes it very easy to say what we think.
Been there, done that! I just keep myself at the tipsy stage by drinking one glass of water to every 2 tipples. So much better that way plus there's no stinking hangover ;)

it's a known fact that alcoholic beverages untie ones inhibitions. Under it's influence, one is more likely to speak their mind. In some folk this invokes truth, but in others pathological lies.
If I take you on a pub crawl, will you tell me how much you really love me?? ;-)

I dont think this is necessarily true. To an extent, but some of the crap ive said whilst drunk has no truth behind it whatsoever.

It does with me, I rarely drink but on the odd occasions I have done I've told my hubby's family just what I think of them and told my brothers bunny boiler gold digging girlfriend exactly what I think of her too, sometimes vodka does have its uses.

Oh yes it does in deed. My Friend did that over a year ago but what she told me has been kept secret from those who don't need to know.

Not with me, but my son is brutally honest when he's had a couple of drinks. It has got him into trouble once or twice!
