They forgot to say that UNC is missing their point guard. But, i would rather be 1 at the end of the season then now....

BYU is a good team, 4 starters were married, there ages were like 25, 23, , 22, 21.......These players are considerd old in college b-ball, witch means more experience....They are number 1 for sure, that is if ty lawson is playing....

I'm a BYU fan, not a Tarheels, fan, but it was very clear that they were better than the Cougars. BYU played them very tough, but the difference in quality was quite obvious. I thought they played up to the challenge, and UNC still controlled almost the entire game. You can't judge a team from a single game...and I wouldn't say they struggled to beat BYU, I'd say they pretty much imposed their will on a very scrappy team, and in the end the talent shined through as they won by 10 points, a comfortable enough margin. As for #1, who knows? That's why they play the games.

They looked pretty impressive against Ohio St. last night without Lawson so I would say that things look very promising for UNC this year, even though Ohio St. is really young.

Beating quality teams without the starting point guard is difficult at best, and UNC is doing it. They won't go undefeated, Duke will beat them at least once, but they probably will win the regular season ACC title and it looks promising for at least a FF appearance.

well, UNC is really good and they have a strong team. Roy Williams will be leading them all the way to another championship this year=)

I think we are struggling a little without Ty Lawson. We are still winning games. Roy Williams feels this is just making our team stronger winning these games without a key player.
BYU is a fairly good team too. Go Tarheels!
