sounds like very very early labour! Oooh how exciting for you!
I would start to walk around a bit (with rest stops in between) and start to get your last minute things together so when the going gets tough its all ready to go.
call hubby/birth partner to alert them just in case it gets regular soon so that someone can come be with you too.
But for the meantime, stay relaxed and calm, walk as much as you can to help things along and be patient too.
If its unlike the pains from before and they start to take to a pattern and get stronger and more intense then its the real deal! When they get to regular intervals of about 5mins apart for at least an hour then get ready to call the hospital and go in.
Good luck and walk, walk, walk!!!

You are so close to term that it could be early labour - I had really strong Braxton Hicks from about 5 months up to the term and could only tell the difference by plotting the rhythm of the contraction. There was a chart in one of the books I had at the time that showed how a B/H peaked and how a 'real' contraction grew and diminished. The pain/discomfort level was no different BUT they didn't stop and thats the key.
Ring your midwife/hospital and alert them. They will tell you how long to wait and that will depend on your journey time. My waters broke - no doubt after that!!
Good luck with it all - I hope everything goes well and I wish you a quick labour.

I can definately say its practice contractions, seen as you are not far off your due date they ould turn into labour at any time now!! When you get closer to your due date, you will get contractions that are all over the place, a you are nearing labour they will get closer together and become more painful, so when they become 5 mins apart or less and are gettin more painfull and regular call your doc and let them know your coming!
this means your baby will be here very soon so congrats and good luck!! x

I would say you are in slow labour. With 2 of my pregnancies this went on for several nights, and always stopped during the day. On the 3rd day they continued and got stronger and i gave birth that evening with both of them. If this is your first baby the hospital will probably tell you not to come in until they are regular or you cannot cope with the pain.
PS Try having sex to give the contractions a boost.

At this stage in your pregnancy nothing is braxton hicks unless a midwife says so..and not necessarily then. Get your bag and call the hospital.

they sound like braxton hicks! but i say if they dont go away in like another hour i would definitly go in and at least get checked out, hell maybe you should just go in just in case you are close to having that baby (congradulations by the way) if they start to get more intense and every thing i would go in
