You make me laugh really, you are really freaking-out with your freaking-long-name.
It's weird in a sense that it is written in one word. But the name itself is good, Hayleydanielle. Well you already put up with it up to now (your 8th grade), well done to you.
Tired of writting your long name, right? It won't be a bother now for you to write your long name now, you can write it in no time. Probably in your early age, you are struggling to write your name.
I would go for Hayley as your nickname. Best if you use the 1st name (1st word). Hayley is sweet and very feminine name.
Cheer-up!

Hayley and Danielle are both nice names, but I agree that Hayleydanielle is too much. It must be annoying to fill in forms because there aren't enough spaces for your name!

I think that a person's name is very important. You don't want people to judge you based on your name. I don't mean anything against your mother, but I think it would be a good idea to separate your names legally. Do people call you Hayleydanielle? I prefer Danielle to Hayley, if it matters.

You could go by Hadley as a mix of the two names.

Even though it is long it's still a pretty name. To me if you were to introduce yourself and say your name i would just think it was a hyphened name.
Although it is a little long and shortening would make it easier, don't get it changed legally, just use what you prefer going by, one of the names.
I would say go by Hayley because it is the first parts and seems logical to use the first part of a long name as the shortened version. Also Hayley is a very pretty name.
I would say go by Hayley defiantly but only use it as ur preffered name.

I would go with Hayley since it's the first part of your name.

Who ever said Hayley is to babyish and won't find a good job, tell that to my cousin who has a great, high paying job.

You poor child! Really...I think your mom must have been smoking something to conjure up a name that long. But there have been worse names created, rest assured.

Fortunately, both Hayley and Danielle are nice names. Be glad you weren't named Egbert or Shazaam or Ooops.

I would go with Hayley because there are fewer people, I believe, with that name, so it is more original. I have one of the most common names on the planet and it is a pain in the derrier when I'm in a room full of people, they call my name, and 10 guys hold their hands up.

Does anyone call you "Comet-Breath"? Kids can be cruel, I know. But Hayley is really a cool name and I would go with that one if I were you.

I think Danielle is proabably the best name for you.

In the future, when you look for a job, many people like names that are more professional and long.

Hayley isn't a bad name, but it's too babylish.

turst me, your future might be better with Danielle.

I would definitely shorten it to onc name as far as what you want to be called. But I definitely wouldn't change it legally.

I like Danielle personally. Sounds more interesting than Hayley, even though Hayley is spelled really cool. Hayley sounds like a girls name, Danielle sounds like a womans name!

but it's ultimately up to you! ;)

This is obviously fake - one minute your name is spelt Hailey and then Hayley, even an 8th grader wouldn't miss-spell their name.

My mom said that I came to her in a dream when she was pregnant with me and told her what to name me.....

I think I'd prefer Danielle, however Hayley might be more appropriate simply because it's the first part. My little sister's name is Jessi-lynne (one name, with the hyphen). Most people call her Jessi, not Lynne.

You COULD go by "HD"... Tell your boyfriends you come in "high definition"..... Ok I'm a geek, can't ya tell?

:edit:
Bugger - that white kanigit stole my HD joke while I was writing...

I don't see anything wrong with your name, and people are stupid for making fun of your for it, like you even picked the name in the first place.

If my name was Matthewdewayne, I'd go by Matthew, simply because it came first.

I think Hayley is a good name too.
