When i start my computer either:
1) my desktop loads up fine but then every 10 seconds it refreshes (explorer.exe refreshes)
2) i get a blank desktop without any icons or anything and i have to hit control+alt+ delete to get into task manager and manually have explorer.exe run. Then the desktop starts refreshing/restarting after every 10 seconds.
its really annoying and i have finals in the next 2 days so please somebody help me fix this.
I ran ad-aware and cleared all the infections. I am running a virus scan and it says i have got 2 trojans: oaif.exe (SHeur.ADXU) and rtfjiqam.exe (Generic_c.FPC). they were healed...same problem.
i tried running the computer in safe mode and the desktop still refreshes every 10 seconds. I tried doing system restore, but it doesn't matter what point i choose it says system restore incompelete. Now i am out of ideas and frustrated. Please help.
My computer is a dell laptop inspiron 600m, 1GB Mem, 80GB HDD and running windows xp home with sp2.

sounds like a virus that maybe your software isnt picking up you might try to go into safe mode and scan again and delete your system restore point could be infections hiding in there too, oh yeah and scan ur registry

oaif.exe is part of a rootkit (Rootkit.Rustock.gen)
It may be possibly that there are still file(s) on your computer that are infected.

You may need to reinstall your OS (WinXP)
