I agree with the spook. N.Rock, they made there own bed, however if the BoE would have lent them the money instead of leaking it to the press, and the press wouldn't have made such a big deal of it, effectivly making a mountian out of a mole hill, the situation wouldn't have been nearly as bad. The data loss, was a subnormal, no doubt illegal immigrant, with no formal training, being an idiot. Yes, they should be charged, and imprisoned, and the dummy overseeing the entire dept, should be sacked. The 600,000 just goes to show the sleaze hasn't stopped. He'll take the 50/50, and focus "on my track record". haha

Don't get me wrong I'm not a Gorgon supporter - far from it (I can't stand the man as he has his hand too deeply in my wallet).
Northern Rock - It was their crappy lending policies that caused them to be in trouble, not Gorgon. he had to pump money in to keep the bank afloat as if it had gone down everyone would have lost faith inthe banking system and there would have bee a run on every single bank in the UK.
Computer Disks - It was some mentally subnormal civil servant (that applies to all of them doesn't it?) who decided tell an even more subnormal subordinate to download a shedload to sensitive data onto a couple of CDs and give it to a spotty oik on a motorbike. Don't think it was Gorgon's fault. In fact what the morons did was completely against the data protection act and so they should be sacked and face criminal charges.
You do have a point on the £600,000 though. I think he'll take the 50/50 on that one. B Liar got away with it.

The Tories had their fair share of ****-ups as will any government. What's the point of judging them on lost CDs? As for the donation. I don't see why we have to know anyway. If I wanted to donate some money I wouldn't want the world to know. As long as an independant person vetted them to make sure it wasn't crook - I don't really care. Trouble is GB should have gone for the election already. No doubt we'll end up with David Cameron..God help us then!

You do the sensible thing and abolish that pointless institution the British parliament that presides over corrupt and incompetent M.P.s and a dysfunctional civil service. Its time Europe had just one parliament. It would vastly simplify the legislative process and vastly reduce the cost of operating it.
