What's the best way to learn guitar?

1) Take lessons, (Witch where I live, are 15-30 dollars for 30 min)
2) Buy self learning books
3) Or other options?

It depends on you and your schedule. For me it was easier to teach myself. you can buy the books and learn on you schedule. That will work great if you already have some music knowledge. If you know nothing about music, i would have someone teach you the basics. But like i said it all depends on you.

It does vary with individual. Maybe start with a very basic book and see how it goes.
I can tell you the most important part is practice, practice, practice.
