Its the best city in the entire world. I am not an Australian, but i studied there for three years. and those were the best 3 years of my life. I really miss that place. The weather is awesome. I was a bit hesitant about my decision to study there after hearing so much about the so called 'racist Australians'. But trust me, people are really nice to you. I never came across a single incidence of racism in those years. Made some of the best friends there. As long as you dont f*&% up and creat nuisance in their country (like a few ethnic groups), Australians will always welcome you.

I love living in Sydney, I kiss the ground each and everytime I come back to Sydney from being and working overseas.

Sydney is lovely. I grew up in Queensland, and lived in England for a while, and then moved to Sydney. It is gorgeous aesthetically - the harbour is one of the most beautiful sights in the world I reckon. It has a huge amount of beaches - one for everyone's taste! It has loads of restaurants and bars, good places to shop (though...it's no London!) - nice places to eat out, and wicked scenery. It can be expensive - and it is quite spread out so costs like taxis can add up, or buses, tolls etc. That being said, there is plenty of free stuff to do here, like stroll through the rocks area, sight see around different areas....swim...check out the markets etc. I'd recommend Sydney to anyone :).....and I've seen over 200 of the world's cities......

Absolutely brilliant. If I wasn't living where I am now, I would be living in Sydney. Best city in Australia, best in the world!

the best, we have the harbour, beaches, amazing sights, great shopping, the coolest people, mountains only a few hours drive away, and beautiful national parks to bushwalk and picnic in. what more could you want?
