im a 19 year old white male from california and if you tell me that anyof thoes have an effect on who i vote for i dont want to hear your answer... is there a honest place to hear about each canidate thats not slanted to one side or the other? also i would consider myself as a democrat. i am pro choice, against the war, optomistic about health care programs, and a huge part of my vote will go to someone who stresses the importance of our future in energy! so who do you thing would be my best choice... oh and i really want a site that will give me straight up facts on everyone... or maybe a quiz

www.ontheissues.org - a non bias site that includes all of the candidates stances on the issues
My personal choice is Ron Paul, but I think the best candidate for you may be Bill Richardson.

Check Ron Paul's website for forthright info on his beliefs and voting record. I, a 63 Yr. old post beat neo-hipster can't say enough for this true American. I pray for an upset because America's leaders are morally bankrupt and Paul is a man with a wonderful message and large balls. I swore for years i'd never vote until someone had the guts to legalize marijuana and I'm registering this time around. Mr. paul's largest shortcoming is that he doesn't waste a lot of time explaining his stands and I feel people should take some time to figure out what he means. I must say that ending the drug war scam is the singular most important thing we need to do RIGHT NOW. We need to get out of all foreign entanglements and we should be ashamed of our pathetic stance against our wonderful Mexican friends who mostly fill positions we Americans feel we are to good for. Wake up America and know that in the words of the immortal Yogi Berra,"It ain't over ' til it's over". Paul might not win, but a good showing would greatly empower him in congress. Love to all Americans, Frank Davenport

None - they velocity around ovals doing nicely over a hundred miles an hour with inches between them & the different vehicles. i like racing yet how sensible is that quite - presidents continually look sensible till now & dumb afterwards so i will't vote for somebody who lacks good judgement (right here too close venture). Plus it takes a undeniable volume of conceit to have the boldness to race & that's no longer a superb presidential trait. they're magnificent of their careers yet president is pushing it. We bypass away with the single actor yet i could want greater organization & political journey. for this reason i'm a Dale Jr fan - he has a organization supervisor & concentrates on using. i could vote for Joe Gibbs or Rick Hendricks - good organization experience & performs nicely with others.

There is some info on wikipedia about the candidates. I can't tell you how good it is though.
To me the first vote in the primary gives you the most choice even though it's really not much choice.
The second vote for the real election is a vote for the lesser of evils unless you like evil.
I'll vote against the Republicans in the main election unless Ron Paul runs. If he does I'll have to think about voting for him.Even though he's a Republican, I like some of his ideas and he seems honest compare to the other whom I consider rightwing trash. I just want change in the end and as much as possible.

NO One has the right to tell you who to vote for. It's your responsibility to familiarize your self with the candidates and what their position is on issues, then vote accordingly.
i find the league of women voters to be the most unbiased source there is.
I am a REP, but I will say being a Dem is your own priviledge and I respect it.I appreciate your interest.

That would be impossible.
I would first start by check out all of their sites. See what they claim to stand for. Then take everything you say with a grain of salt.
If you truly want to find your candidate you will need to do a ton of research and filter a lot of junk. Sorry!
here is all the major candidates websites. Notice how I said "MAJOR" that's very important and can save you time because they most likely will not win so focus on the leaders.
(I am sure I will get one Ron Paul comment after this. Its the Ron Paul police)

Well, seeing as how California will almost certainly go to the democrats you should not waste time voting for president and focus more on local elections.
Seriously... if you're a democrat why bother, the popular vote clearly doesn't matter (2000), if you're a republican peeing on you hand would be as effective as voting, and if you want to vote for a "third party" just realize the two current parties (you know, the people in power) will do anything they can within the bounds of the law (which they write) to hang on to the two party system.
Vote local, its mathematically more sensible.

No, seriously, if you don't have the dedication to go research candidates seriously on your own, DON'T VOTE!
It completely defeats the purpose of voting as well as the informed votes of other people if you are just blindly guessing or picking whoever someone else told you to.

I don't think there is a place. CNN is Pro Hillary. Fox News is Pro Obama. Everyone favors someone. It sucks, but it's the truth.
