Sometimes they are kind of hitting the nail on the head, BUT -- I read them for fun more than anything else. I don't revolve my daily life around them or anything.

Believe nothing just because a so-called wise person said it.
Believe nothing just because a belief is generally held.
Believe nothing just because it is said in ancient books.
Believe nothing just because it is said to be of divine origin.
Believe nothing just because someone else believes it.
Believe only what you yourself test and judge to be true

Nothing in life is to be feared, It is only to be understood.

Scorpio is the only sign which has three symbols, it is up to the individual to some degree whether you become a scorpion, an eagle or a grey lizard. The scorpion is legendary for the sting in the tail, and gives the Scorpian a fearsome reputation. The grey lizard tends to turn the prodigous Scorpio energy and passion inwards on himself and become bitter and melancholy, perhaps prone to drug or alcohol dependency. However the eagle soars above the problems of the world with no fear. The person born under this most complex of signs has a steady gaze and piercing, hypnotic eyes. You have total ego: you are not bothered by insults or compliments as you have an untouchable sense of who and what you are. You tend to be cool and composed, rarely nervous, and with a vitality and charisma. Your hot inner nature is masked by an inscrutable poker-face. A compliment from you is praise indeed as you don't deign to flatter and tend to tell the truth, warts and all. However you may have a sweet nature, especially sympathetic towards the infirm. If roused to revenge for any reason, the scorpion will sting and sting again, anxious to get even at any cost, whereas the eagle will take his just revenge then move on and rise above negative emotions. Negative emotions are the province of the grey lizard type of Scorpian. You seldom become ill, but be careful if you do as it may be serious. You may be deeply interested in life and death, religion, sex and a desire to right wrongs. Brave and faithful to family and loved ones, protective of the small and weak. You are possessive of what's yours and quietly ambitious.

I believe in astrology because i believe that the planets exert an effect on the earth (energy in the form of photosynthesis or gravity in changing the tides) these effects have been noticed on human beings ( if the sun can give you a tan or cancer or help synthesize vitamin d or affect your sesonal moods why can't it have other affects?) the sun is only one planet we have many. these planets are assigned a place on a "map" in the sky just like your life would be different in new york or las vegas a planet's effect is different at different locations. so we have constellations aries taurus etc. then depending on where YOU are born we have certain constellations in "houses" or the different areas in life.
just like if you were born in kentucky, studied in london, married in paris, raised a family in shanghai the environment is affected by the location around you. we say the sun is in house one of appearances in the sign of scorpio so you appear scorpian, but your moon is in 4th house of family in the sign of aquarius - your home life is very different from how you appear and thus affects your emotions and feelings in certain ways shaping who and what you are.
sun sign horoscopes in the newspaper are only one true part of the whole puzzle which is why they seem out of place.
if you seriously look into astrology you will find like all things some of it is very true some of it not so much.
if anything astrology helps you explore all sectors of your life and helps you to find out for yourself what is true and what isn't, till then don't judge just on the basis of sun sign.

i believe there are uses for horoscopes; but the horoscopes you read in magazines are too vague; they cant be the same for everyone under your sign! if you want your future told, go to someone and get your numerology done, as well as your astrology, get some tarot cards read and maybe your palm. on their own these may seem like fake lies, but put them all together and you may find some truth in them.

i read them when i get the chance but no they are not real. how can they even be true when one horoscope is different from the other? just does not make any sense. it's all bs, imo.

"Astrology horoscope"? As opposed to a different type of horoscope??? "Astrology horoscope" is redundant. It's like describing something as "big huge" or "little tiny"... Know what I mean? And if you don't believe in it, as you claim, why did you even bother to tell us your sun sign??? If you truly didn't believe in astrology, your sign would be irrelevant to you...

Yes, by the way, I believe in it. It does have a bearing on our lives, whether we believe in it or not. That's irrelevant, too.
