Do you think Sharia Law would ever come to Britain and what are your views on how it would affect you and your family if it did?

The establishment of a 2,000,000 Muslim community in the
UK is the biggest mistake in 1000 years of UK history.Islamic ideology is incompatible with western values and they have had the tradition for so long that Sharia law must be the preferred law for this community.

In addition we are having to build on flood plains and the green belt due to overpopulation, this means a decrease in living standards due to mass immigration.

Surprise surprise New Labour have got it wrong again and badly wrong . The problem is that the Islamic world does not have a place for Muslims to live where they can enjoy a modern world lifestyle so where can they go other than the west? We must make an effort to reduce the Muslim population of the UK as a matter of urgency

No - religion rarely has non-political priority - the Christian faith is tied in with conservative politics and the two go together - what we have in the world is religious-political systems and the christian-capitalist sytem is far more efficient than the muslim-political system - this is why the west is further advanced than the middle east. It would require a change in the current political nature of our country - and the fact is that the reason a lot of muslims go west is that the countries are more prosperous and more economically advanced. To start to instigate Sharia Law would have politcal implications which would mean that the UK would lose out to its European competitors. The concomitatant reduction in economic prosperity would trun the majority away from such a structure, and lead to us tending toward a more efficient capitalist system, based on it what it used to be (such as the protestant work ethic which helped to build America).

I see this as one of the most dangerous situations the UK has ever faced.
With the current number of Muslims in the UK at the moment
and the imbalance between the birth rate of Muslim families
and standard UK families, it will not be long before we are in a minority situation.

With the current un-monitored and un-regulated immigration
system and a government that has no idea, how many people they have actually allowed to enter the country, you can see that the problem is gathering pace and needs to be
addressed A.S.A.P.

Sharia Law, appears to be run by Muslim Extremists and appears to be above Governmental Law. The consequence of this is a religious dictatorship and third world living conditions for most people.

I would never be prepared to live under Sharia Law and would
support hard line Right Wing Policies if that was the only way to get rid of it.

No way in **** will it come to Britain. If it did there would be riots and angry mobs outside westminster(I would be part of the mob) Do you see a law were if your gay you get hanged or that a hundred lases for getting raped? If people from sharia want to come to the uk they will respect our laws. They're the ones coming to the uk for a better life. No one is asking them to come here. IF they want their old laws they will move back to were the law is. WE SHOULDN'T HAVE TO CHANGE F ALL ABOUT THE UK to suit immigrants

Thank God I don't live in Britain and I don't have to worry about it. Although I would hate to see a nice country like Britain get messed up.

Well the government is doing everything it can to make the immigrants feel at home so this wouldn't suprise me. However i do believe it would cause a civil war or cause so much hatred towards the muslims that they would flee the country in fear. So maybe it wouldn't be such a bad thing.

I hope not. It would make me a gaoler to my wife and daughter. They would have to go around covered from head to foot. My grand daughters would be prevented from gaining an education and would be running in fear of half educated sadistic self important little g--s imposing a law at the behest of an equally ill educated smelly g't pretending to be a spiritual leader

How would it? anyway and i know some will say its growing this fast. but the fastest growing religion in Britain and Ireland is not Islam its Wicca. i know they have a small number but its growing the fastest in the western world.

I can't imagine why you'd worry about it. It won't happen. Muslims are a small minority in the west, and most of them came to the west to escape Islamic tyranny. If they dared attempt to take over the govt. they'd be killed.
