You solve much like an equality.
8x + 10 > 7x + 11

Subtract 7x from both sides:
x + 10 > 11

Subtract 10 from both sides:
x > 1

P.S. The only difference between this and equalities is if you multiply or divide by a negative number. Then you need to switch the direction of the sign. But here we only used subtraction.

solve it as normal eg 8x +10 > 7x +11
colect all x terms and number which gives u x >1 like take 7x to the other side and 10 to the left hand side no problem

Get x alone on one side

8x + 10 > 7x + 11
x+10>11 (subtract 7x from both sides)
x>1 (subtract 10 from both sides)

Remember if you do something to one side oyu MUST do the same to the other!!

8x+10>7x+11
Subtracting 7x from both sides,we get
