In connection with my line of questiosns, I request for your ideas for approaching media, namely TV channels, to canvass my party. What may be the ways to get their attention to announce my new political party.

Now to get back to your query.Media is not a charitable organisation.Cost being your constraint,what you basically need for a plug is
a friend or some source who either knows someone or who works for the media.This person can try to secure an appearance on some program connected with extra curricular activities of students in general,as a participant
so that you have a small exposure.A gradual build up would help your efforts gather momentum.A similar approach with a local or
regional newspaper or a magazine would put you on the right track.It is a time consuming affair which will be frustrating.But knowing you as I have come to know you through the Yahoo

Get your colleagues who are with you in this project,together for a brainstorming session and get their inputs too.See how they are faring

some sort of a musical evening with a known
artiste participating.Ticket sales and ads in a souvenir will build your kitty slowly which will start you off for your foray into media exposure.
