The only reason Tony Blair got out when he did, was because he realised that the whole pack of cards that he had created was about to collapse. Gordon Brown was so greedy for power and all that goes with the position, he ignored what even he must have been aware of, thinking perhaps that he would be able to ride above it all, or that the British public would be blinded by his brilliance.

So the current government can't actually be said to be worse than Blair's, it effectively still is Blair's!

All the old crew (Blair, Prescot, Mendleson etc.) must all be having a great laugh now, as they have all got out of the limelight just in time, and the current bunch of dimwits are having to face the music in their place!

All politicians are the same - they just look after themselves.

It's time for a totally new party to come to government and get rid of Labour and the Conservatives because they are past their sell by dates. The 'Libs' are even more of a joke, I wouldn't like to see them in charge of a cake stall in a village fete.

Not yet, but then you might consider asking the same question about Margaret Thatcher's and John Major's Governments too.

It's beginning to look that way yes, a cluster of embarrassments already for Brown and he's only just in the door - if things keep going this way he can say goodbye to Number 10.
