I currently have a 2.3 litre quad 4 in my 1995 Grand AM SE. I am looking to get more speed. Will either the supercharged 3.4 or supercharged 3.8 fit in my car?

I'd say the 3.4 would be the best fit. the 3.8 may be too big and might need much more in the way of custom engine and trans mounts...

either one will fit physically. The problem you will have is the wiring and ECM. You will need to change the entire underhood wiring harness (and possibly some underdash wiring) as well as the ECM. It is really much more work (and expense) than the car is worth. I would not recommend doing it

BTW, you would also have to change the entire exhaust system, engine mounts, and probably the transaxle as well. By time you got done, you could have bought a new car..

Anything is possible. This would take an immense effort and you better be good with fabrication and a cutting torch as there will be tons of changes to be done not to mention wiring, trans, PCM, and cooling system updates.
