I have a yeast infection URGH I know, however my doc is on vacation for another 10 days and i dont want to show my bits to the lady doctor who is covering him, the drug is DIFLUCAN or the generic version... anyone recommend anywhere to get it, and why is this just not available otc.. this would save people money hassle and pain!

walmart has some 4 dollar perscriptions for different problems...check if they have one for ur issue

Fluconazole (Diflucan) is an anti-fungal. Like all potent drugs in its class, it is too risky for it to be an OTC. There are yeast infection OTC medications. You can use Monistat, and things like that. However, I don't know what is OTC in Canada. In some Canadian provinces, pharmacists can prescribe.
