I'll analyze it part by part
- Point Guard: Nash vs. Billups (Advantage Suns)
- Shooting Guard: Hamilton vs. Bell (Advantage Pistons)
- Center: McDyess vs. Stoudomire (Advantage Suns)
- Power Forward: Wallace vs. Marion (Advantage: Suns)
- Small Forward: Prince vs. Hill (Advantage: Pistons)
- Bench: Hlayes, Maxiell, Mohammed, Murray vs. Barbosa, Diaw, Skinner, Banks (Advantage: Suns)
- Coach: Saunders vs. D'Antoni (equal - non of brought their team past the conference finals)

It would be a great match-up & i think Suns will prevail in 7 games.

Pistons in 7. The Suns are a run and gun team with absolutely no concept of defense. They usually outrun teams. Without Ben Wallace, the Pistons still have defense and are still an offensive team. The playoffs are all about adjustments and the Pistons adjust well. The Suns' scoring ability will be compromised. They would not be able to outrun the Pistons the way they do with most teams.

Phoenix Suns would win in a game 6. If the Cleveland Cavaliers can beat them in 6 I know the Phoenix Suns can beat them in 6. Because the Phoenix Suns are better than the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Pistons in 6, much improved this year with the amount of youth and strength from the bench, Maxiell is much more head smart and add lots of energy when resting sheed or tay, and murray is taking things in stride this year and knows the system a lot better so his relief will help a lot. Pistons bench would win it for them in 6.

As long as the Pistons have their starting 5 and they are healthy, and Rasheed Wallace can check his attitude, they will win against the Suns with their "Casper-like" defense.

For those who don't know, Casper was the friendly ghost and although you could see him, he wasn't really there, just like the Suns defense.

The Suns in 6 games.
Phoenix frontcourt (Marion & Amare) would be too much for Wallace & Antonio. They haven't been the same since BigBen left, but they are still one of the best teams in the East.
