Granted, I was 9 at their peak of popularity. Remeber that music video where everyone's floating around in a bubble, and then that guy breaks out into a rap? How awesome was that?

I remember in the video "I Saw the Sign" they do a lot of that "fingers sweeping over the eyes" thing. And that sihouette doing flips in the background. And they asked "But where do you belong" .... and I'm like "yeah, where DO I belong".

Yes, they had a few good songs. I believe I was about 18 at that time. I don't remember seeing any of their videos, but I remember hearing them on the radio.

When I someday meet you, I will hug and kiss you. Then I'll think back to this Q and I'll strangle you for getting Ace Of Base stuck in my head. Geez, I know more of their songs than I even realized.

I liked the Beautiful Life video too :)

When I was 13 I would listen to Beautiful Life like twice a day and just dance and sing it like crazy. I wonder where my cassette tape is...

the only song i remember by ace of base is i saw the sign a white girl that i was somewhat interested in played it in gym class

I used to like that spooky sound effect on that "all that she wants" song, like somebody twirling one of those plastic tubes you hook up to a pool skimmer.

I resented them...thought they were cheap ABBA knock offs.
