No, however, conservatives believe in a strong military is necessary to protect our Constitution and that sometimes it is necessary to destroy a potential high risk before they attack and kill numerous Americans.
Sounds like you consider your self a liberal and support isolation--which history has shown has always cost us thousands of life after we were attacked--both world wars.

Conservatives must like imperialism since the U.S. military is now present in 120 countries. Most of the Republican presidential candidates are clearly supporting our long term occupation in mideast countries, yet conservatives on Y!A are pretending that they don't like imperialism. Seems a bit hypocritical.

Don't lump all conservatives into one category. Globalist neocons like imperialism. Paleocons are traditional and they want isolation and border control rather than invading others.

Not all, no. Some recognize that the US needs a strong presence in the world to protect our interests. I personally am not fond of having our troops stationed all over the world.
