I'm not sure about CRNA, but many professions have requirements for their licensed members to get a certain number of credits over a period of time (like per year). I know that as an attorney in California, I have to complete 25 hours over the course of 3 years, four of which have to be on specific subject matters, but the rest is up to me. You get them by attending classes or, if approved by your licensing organization, you can do alternative things like videos or audiotapes, or online programs.

Both the answers above are good--the only thing I can add is that continuing education credits are not the same as college credits, even if they're offered for a course taught at a college. You can't usually apply them toward a college degree (although I've seen a few times when a course was offered for both continuing education and college credit). This surprises some people, so make sure you know what you're getting and that it's what you need for your purpose.

Continuing Ed credits are class that are given after you receive your degree which are usually required to keep some type of license you have earned such as a Realtors license or a Certified Paralegal. There are many others. Usually your local college or university will offer many of these classes or the association that issued the license.
