Do nothing laws that are only aimed at getting more votes so people can stay in office.

I used to be a teacher (and would like to be one again), but I was ticked off when politicians would throw money at schools to get the votes of the NEA. I was a union member, but I did not like being told to vote for certain people "because they gave us money." What happened? Union dues went way up (more than pay increases) and the money went to useless programs, athletics, and administration. It did no good for the education of my students, the sole reason for having schools.

Well a few things that I have a problem with are the warrantless wiretappings, suspension of Habaeus Corpus, no respect for civil liberties because of laws like the Patriot Act and Military Commissions Act. The goverment has become more secretive. The fact that the dollar is losing it's value day by day due to the fact we have nothing backing it, and we are told that everything is allright trust us. Our government borrowing money from private bankers, known as the Federal Reserve, that they have to pay back with intrest when Congress has the Constitutional authority to control currency. We have paper money instead of gold and silver as the Constitution says is the only legal currency in the United States. The spending of billions upon billions of dollars on a failed forgein policy in Iraq. Going to war when Congress does not declare war like the Constitution says. Having are own terrorist organization, known as the CIA, overthrow democratically elected governments and install dictators like they did in Iran Guatamuela and the Dominican Republic who go on to kill thousands of innocent civilians. As a result, we have incited hatred towards us. And finally, most of Americans willing to sacrifice liberty for security so we can, as history shows, lose both. These are just a few policies and laws I don't like that are hurting America.

i am furious that they haven't put a law into effect that say you cannot protest at funerals. i live in kansas and am ashamed to say that the psychotic freak phelps family is from the same state. it makes kansas and all of america look bad. the government needs to stand up and show some respect for our fallen soldiers. if the government is the reason our soldiers are going to war in the first place, then how can they not do anything to protect them when they come home - dead or alive. that's my rant for the day. i hate the phelps.

It makes me mad that our elected officials don't work for us. Instead they work for the corporations and their lobbyists. There is not a single member of congress who has not accepted huge bribes (disguised as campaign contributions) from these companies. How can our leaders protect our interests when they've been paid to protect the profits of the corporations?

I'm also outraged that global warming continues to be ignored. I'm shocked that the candidates have the nerve to talk about anything else.

As for the war...I'm too angry to even articulate my thoughts on that.

The unforgivable failure to understand basic economics: price gouging legislation. When you place a cap on prices, there is no incentive to get additional resources/products to the area and therefore a shortage insues. When demand increases, the price must be allowed to fluctuate to meet it, otherwise people will buy more than they actually need and those who get to the store too late are forced to do without. It's economics 101!

Wars of choice, tax breaks for multi-national farm conglomerates, lack of an energy policy, lack of health care, exporting American jobs, the National Debt increasing 1.4 billion dollars per day, erasing parts of the Bill of Rights, stuff like that.

Right now, i'm upset at many of the financial freedoms some of those religious schools have. I just heard that a former president of this one university made the entire school campaign for this one local politician. They are using their tax exempt status to raise a ton of money for that local guy.

being PC
not protected our own country but protecting another.
the nation having no concept of moral anymore.
the fact of no christian religon being allowed (though of course the big monopolies all love their umpteen billion dollar CHRISTMAS bonus's)
the fact that no one has the guts to stand up to illegal immigration and no spanish.

i could go on, and on, and on...
