windows xp. it says i don't have these installed. i used too. how can i get what i need from another computer?

i'm sorry i'm not too clear. how do i connect two computers together so i can transfer the drivers from one to the other? or adapter whatever. i don't have the disk.

U simply need to install the DRIVERS for it.
Find CDs the system came with, or contact supplier for help locating right drivers
Install them
Job done

IF the sound and network are "onboard" it will be the CD for the Motherboard you need, install ALL the drivers, the IDE, NEtwork, USB etc etc etc to make system run MUCH more efficiently

I don't think that you can use parts from a laptop to fix a Desktop. The pin-outs are vastly different.
