It depends what you want the bank to do. If you just have a checking account Chase is fine, I bank with Chase and never had any problems. Yet if you want a credit card or a loan NEVER EVER get one from Chase. This folks know no mercy, if you miss payment deadline by a day or went a buck over your credit line they will change your APR to the highest allowable by law and that is HIGH. Bank of America is a lot more humane and understanding.

We deal with both but prefer neither. Chase has our credit card. Bank of America has securities it inherited when our bank was purchased by them. Our bank for checking and savings is the one closest to us which we inherited when they absorbed our smaller regional. Webster has fulfilled our needs and we have no desire to change at the moment. You do not leave for other vendors when the one who services you has done well by you.
